Ten official succession forms went out to the most dangerous management prospects in the company. You received the final invitation. Your rival did not - but they forced their way into the contest anyway, and Gideon allowed it. Initiative, apparently.

Now eleven bosses are climbing the same impossible corporate machine. Build your Boss, assemble a department, manage a living roster, and fight through rival-controlled buildings on the way to the executive floor.

Downer Management is a procedural management RPG about making hard calls with imperfect people. Every campaign generates a new company, new employees, new rival bosses, and new stories of loyalty, collapse, revenge, and promotion.

What you do

- Build a custom Boss with a distinct department, look, crest, business card, and leadership style.

- Recruit procedural employees with their own stats, skills, appearances, traits, and histories.

- Commit a three-person active line or mobilize the full roster for major 6v6 boss battles.

- Manage payroll, Authority, Clout, injuries, formation roles, and long-term roster pressure.

- Invade rival departments, clear authored building routes, and take succession spoils that permanently reshape the run.

- Track nine filed claimants and one unauthorized rival as they remember losses, return across the campaign, and fight for the same chair.

- Decorate the office, compose a company theme, design your business card, and waste responsible amounts of time in the Break Room.

Weekend Vigilante included

When the workweek ends, the Boss can take the fight outside.

Weekend Vigilante is included with the base game: a separate Saturday-and-Sunday mode with hidden bases, masks, sidekicks, a custom vigilante loadout, broadcast battles, and permanent Boss gains that feed back into the main campaign.

Current release

Version 1.4.1 includes the Succession rewrite, the complete Weekend Vigilante update, expanded rivals and portrait pools, full-roster boss battles, a rebuilt post-battle chain, stronger building rewards, the Expense Account decor economy, premium Business Card integration, and a substantially tightened base-game loop.

Exec on Deck is a separate free expansion currently in development and is not included in this download yet.
